This is something you normally don’t expect from national media like Times of India. See how this news item is positioned next to an advertisement the slogan of which reads – Amazing Today. And the news story in the next column is about 89 deaths in Kolkata hospital. Agreed that the newspaper must have blocked the ad space for its advertiser but then they could have changed the position of this news item to give some respect to those departed souls. Doesn’t it sound repulsive to read two opposite statements?

Apparently, it shows that men succumb to the feminine power. But in a deeper sense, woman is exploited merely as material to satisfy men's lust. See how lustful eyes pierce into the body of this model. The advertisement subtly conveys that woman can only be desirable and she does not (or cannot) possess any other inner quality or character. It seems that our creative juices have dried out as many such products (deo sprays, perfumes and other grooming accessories) are depicted with a pinch of sensuality and there is hardly any creative execution. Where are our feminist groups? Hope they raise their voices against this stark exploitation of our Bhartiya Naari.

સાડી છોડી તેનું સ્કર્ટ કરે છે
શહેરમાં એક એક્ષ્પર્ટ ફરે છે.

“કેમ છો” કેહવામાં જીભ વળે છે
“વોટસ અપ” થી વાત સ્ટાર્ટ કરે છે.

ભારતીય ભોજન તો દાઢે ન વળગે
ગ્લોબલ ક્વિઝિનથી તે ફ્લર્ટ કરે છે.

દિવસ આખો ઓફિસમાં ખાય છે ઝોકાં
રાતે સોશિઅલ મિડિયા પર એલર્ટ કરે છે.

‘અનહદ’ તું પણ જોડાય જા આ ગ્રુપમાં
નાની વાતને ઇસ્યુમાં શું કન્વર્ટ કરે છે?
